Secure a kelp line in 2023

Why Sponsor

How it works

Your organizations can go on a virtual tour of one of our local kelp farms and hear directly from farmers about the ins and outs of farming, the impacts of small kelp farms, and the benefits of eating local kelp.

Demonstrate corporate responsibility by becoming a sponsor of a local kelp farm's lines. It's a simple way to have a real impact. Improve brand perception, demonstrate an investment in socially responsible economic development, and learn about some really cool work being done in our region. Employees want climate-positive action from companies and this is a GREAT way to deliver

How it works

How it works

Ocean farms grow the kelp - those small farms absorb carbon and nitrogen from the oceans. They then divert those sponsored crops to be used as an organic soil-input for land farmers which means they no longer need to use chemical inputs that degrade waterways. Your company gets to come along for the ride and learn all about how easy it is to break the cycle.

Our Farmers

Our Farmers

All our cooperative farmers own and operate small kelp farms in southern New England. The cooperative is farmer owned.  60% of our farmers are woman-run. We have collective backgrounds in commercial fishing, market research, and even a few veterans.  We are working to keep ocean-farms in the hands of the people who do the work. We all operate using zero-input methods and love working as a network to uplift this blue-economy for our region.
